Description
  • Focusing on integrating applications in Windows and Linux-based environment
  • Working with NIWC stakeholders, development, and support teams to ensure the platforms are integrated, available, up-to-date, and providing support for comprehensive (both automated and manual) software testing, and supporting Agile best practices
  • Provisioning Windows and Linux servers in both physical and virtual environments
  • Integrating a variety of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS), government off-the-shelf (GOTS), and open source applications within Windows and Linux environments
  • Installing, executing and troubleshooting containerized applications
  • Troubleshooting quickly and efficiently in Windows and Linux-based environments
  • Researching and recommending innovative and, where possible, automated approaches for system administration and integration tasks

Requirements
  • Must possess an active Top Secret/SCI clearance
  • Minimum of five years of Hardware/Software integration experience in Windows and Linux environments
  • Experience with virtualization technologies, VMware vSphere or Red Hat Kernel-based Virtual Machine (KVM)
  • Ability to automate tasks using scripting languages, such as Python, PowerShell, and PowerCLI
  • Up to 25% travel may be required
  • Must currently hold a DoD 8570-compliant IAT II certification (SSCP or Security+ CE with appropriate CE/OS certificate) or be able to obtain within six months

Desired Skills
  • Experience with working in an Agile methodology environment
  • Experience Signals Intelligence (SIGINT)
  • Experience with DevOps tools (GitLab, BitBucket, Jenkins, Docker, Puppet, Ansible, Artifactory) or similar
  • Familiarization with Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIGs/CS2) requirements
  • Experience with software Containerization (LXC, Docker, Kubernetes, ets.)
  • Experience with Ansible or Puppet is a plus
