Job Summary:
The Applications Engineer Intern will act as the technical expert to customers, distributors, agencies and Toshiba Sales involving the design, application and performance of Toshiba Industrial products.
Responsibilities
  • Gain engineering experience by providing detailed technology support to customers, distributors, agencies and Toshiba Sales.
  • Provides technical support and product trouble-shooting to customers.
  • Work directly with other engineers and professionals in a team environment and see how Toshiba's engineers work together to deliver success.
  • Develop your skills under the supervision and guidance of experienced professionals.
  • Ability to work with student around college class schedule within standard business hours.
  • Training provided in Houston, TX. visitors in a welcoming and professional manner
  • Verifying visitor IDs for security checks
  • Answer and address incoming phone calls
  • Reception area maintenance
  • Welcome display updates for visitors
  • Maintain executive conference. Restock supplies as needed

Requirements:
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:
Current enrollment in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering program at an accredited college or university.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Ability to work 40hrs per week at our office located in Northwest Houston, TX.
  • Must be a team player and able to work in a culturally diverse environment.
