 Services Technology is a dynamic and fast-paced area within the Firm's Wealth Management Technology Division.
We are responsible for creating innovative technology solutions for the Account Opening (AO), one of the strategic growth areas of the Firm, providing document management, workflow and services to our WM clients. This includes state-of-the-art technology for a nationwide network of Private Bankers and product specialists who work with Financial Advisors to provide access to products and services such as online banking, cards, deposit products, residential mortgages, securities-based loans and tailored lending. Sr Java Developer / lead


Role & Responsibilities:
-Self-starter who is proficient in development with Process Development, Headless REST APIs, JAVA, JEE, Spring, Git and other Frameworks with experience in guiding Project teams with full life cycle of development/design and requirements gathering
-Strong developer with hands-on experience in coding, delivering quality code and writing quality unit test cases using Jmeter.
- In the role of a Sr. developer/lead, the resource will be involved in architecting and designing complex business processes and find solutions for the business problems.
-Collaborate and lead discussions offering expert opinions w.r.t design and implementation.
-The resource will also be actively working on enhancements and fixes in these areas. The resource will be working closely with the users in resolving issues and answering questions.
-Participate in design review and peer code review. Understand the build and deployment process and be a go to person for troubleshooting live issues.

-Strong understanding of Jmeter and experience with building test automaton suite using Jmeter
- Required qualifications:
-5 -7 years in Java backend engineering with Java 11+, strong with Java 21 features and performance (incl. virtual threads exposure preferred).
-Spring Boot 2/3, Spring Web, Data JPA, Validation, Scheduling, REST API design and documentation (OpenAPI/Swagger).
-SQL proficiency (PostgreSQL/Oracle/SQL Server), schema design, query optimization.
Testing:
-JUnit 5, Mockito, Test containers, CI/CD with TeamCity, code quality (SonarQube).
-Containers/Kubernetes basics, config management, GitOps workflows.

-Observability: logs/metrics/traces using Splunk/Dynatrace (or similar).
-Secure coding, authN/Z, and enterprise network patterns (whitelisting, proxies).

 -Build secure services (Kerberos/OAuth2/SSO), input validation, and audit/logging.
-Participate in code reviews, architecture, and production incident response/on-call.
 

Soft skills:
-Clear communicator, concise incident/runbook writing.
-Ownership mindset, collaborates with QA/DevOps/Product, supports cross-time zone teams.
Nice to have:
-Messaging with JMS/IBM MQ/ActiveMQ/RabbitMQ, retry/DLQ patterns.
-Any experience in UI frameworks (Angular/React) Performance profiling (JFR, async-profiler) and memory/GC tuning.
-GraphQL, Kafka, Redis caching, or Pact contract testing.
