As a back-end developer, you know that a good site or system needs the right combination of clean code, APIs, analytics, and infrastructure to develop a user-focused solution. We're looking for an experience d back-end developer with the sof t war e engineering skills it takes to identify potential risks, contribute to solution development, and create efficient and effective systems for our clients.
As a back-end developer at Booz Allen, you'll use the latest architectural approaches and open-source frameworks and tools to deliver solutions. Using your sof t war e engineering experience , you'll work with the development team to create custom tools, systems, and sites with consistent performance and scalability.

You Have:
  • 3+ years of experience implementing, maintaining, and supporting new and ongoing sof t war e development
  • 3+ years of experience in sof t war e development using basic programming languages, technologies, tools, or web development stacks
  • Experience with Java
  • Experience with Docker containerization
  • Experience working with unbounded data streams
  • Experience creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative, cross-functional team
  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
  • Associate's degree and 5+ years of experience with sof t war e engineering, or Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience with sof t war e engineering

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with Agile met hodology, extreme programming, sof t war e engineering, product management, and sof t war e products
  • Experience with Kubernetes cluster
  • Experience with Kotlin and Python

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
