Job description

Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Intern to support material planning and supply chain operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This internship is ideal for someone looking to build a foundation in supply chain, procurement, and data analysis. The Supply Chain Intern will work closely with cross-functional teams to help ensure material availability, support cost tracking, and improve overall supply chain efficiency. This position is 100% onsite.

Responsibilities:
  • Support material planning and shortage analysis across active programs
  • Track and follow up on supplier commits (ETD/ETA) to ensure continuity of supply
  • Analyze inventory, excess & obsolete (E&O), and demand alignment
  • Assist in cost tracking (PPV, freight, sourcing options)
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (purchasing, planning, logistics, warehouse)
  • Build and maintain Excel, Power BI, or other business analysis tools to optimize processes
  • Support expedite actions and recovery plans for critical shortages
Requirements:
Education/Qualification
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
Experience
  • Has internship experience in related field is a plus
Skills/Competencies
