Job Description
Position Summary
The Quality Management Systems (QMS) Co-op will support Quality Management System activities for the ADAS business unit in Farmington Hills, with a primary focus on Systemic Quality initiatives and compliance with IATF 16949 requirements. The co-op will assist with quality data analysis, reporting, problem-solving activities, and continuous improvement projects. This role provides hands-on experience with automotive quality management, audit support, and business intelligence tools such as Excel and Power BI.
Key Responsibilities

Support Quality Management System (QMS) activities to maintain compliance with IATF 16949 requirements.

Assist with the monitoring and analysis of quality data using Excel and Power BI.

Develop and maintain quality dashboards, metrics, and monthly management reports.

Support systemic quality investigations and problem-solving activities.

Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action follow-up.

Assist with internal audit preparation, documentation reviews, and action-item tracking.

Support document control activities, including procedure updates and records management.

Help track quality objectives, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Prepare presentations and summaries for quality reviews and management meetings.

Coordinate and follow up on open actions from audits, assessments, and quality meetings.

Assist with maintaining quality databases and improving reporting automation.

Qualifications
