Ready to start your journey in the art of making wine with an extraordinary team? Come learn alongside our team of dedicated wine enthusiasts today! We are seeking a cellar intern for our 2026 harvest season (approximately August 6th - October 9th). This is a full-time temporary position. The expertise of our wine team has allowed us to earn over 1,900 Outstanding wine scores of 90+ points! Join our talented team to be a part of making and providing the finest wines and winery experiences possible for our guests!


What the Cellar Intern does!

As a cellar intern, you’ll be an integral member of the wine making team for Harvest 2026! Whether you have a personal interest in wine, or are just starting your winemaking career, you’ll have the opportunity to learn about the winemaking process from start to finish. Working with our winemaking team at our historic Los Gatos site, the day to day may include:

  • Learning and developing skills required for the wine making process
  • Sanitizing cellar area, equipment, and tanks
  • Performing cellar activities: punch downs, pump-overs, racking, drains, barrel filling
  • Preparing for bottling: prepping, barrel prep and racking, transferring wine
  • Packaging bottles: loading bottles, packaging, shipping, and quality checks
Requirements:

As a Cellar Intern, you will bring:

  • High school diploma required, and college degree or pursuit of degree preferred
  • Previous cellar experience or winery experience is a plus, but not required
  • Effective communication
  • Ability to work well as a team and contribute to group tasks and independently
  • Passion for wine


Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry up 50lbs frequently
  • Ability to stand for the duration of the shift
  • Repetitive motions: lifting, reaching, grabbing, climbing stairs, kneeling, and twisting.
  • Work typically performed both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions and temperatures
