Job description

IBM Watson Developer
Location: Remote
Contract Position
Client: VZ
Provide technical solution and design for enterprise scale search platform
Implement search capabilities using IBM Watson Explorer
Configure IBM Connectors to extract data from different sources and index Configure IBM Watson Explorer to collect, ingest, parse and transform data
Perform relevancy tuning of search results
Implement personalization capabilities using XSLT manipulation and Watson ACL capabilities
Provide Rest based APls for integrating with front end Web applications
Participate in various deployment activities across both prod and non-prod environments
Document design and configuration changes
Collaborate with tech lead, scrum master and rest of the development team to deliver solutions
QUALIFICATION:
3+ Years of experience developing solutions with IBM Watson Explorer, Data Explorer, Vivisimo.
IBM Watson Discovery or related products
Experience in various Watson Explorer connectors to extract data
Experience in process of collecting, ingesting, parsing, and transforming data Experience in relevancy tuning of search results
Experience in XSLT manipulation to apply personalization rules to search results
Experience with Java, Javascript, HTML, AJAX, REST API/SOAP UI/Web Services, XSL,
XSLI.Angular Js
Ability to provide technical solution and design for large enterprise scale applications Proven ability to architect and design unque enterprise search solutions and custom configurations to support customer requirements
Experience in all aspects of the system development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, functional and technical design,
software installation and configuration, testing, documentation, training, and production deployments
Experience working with a globally distributed team and managing offshore teams
Working knowledge of building Web applications
