Intern high school students are teenagers who participate in internships, typically while still enrolled in high school, to gain real-world work experience and exposure to professional environments. These internships can be paid or unpaid and often take place during the summer or school breaks. The primary goal is to help students explore potential career paths, develop new skills, and build a professional network before graduating from high school.

What types of projects or tasks can a high school intern expect to work on during their internship?

As a high school intern, you can expect to assist with a variety of entry-level tasks that provide exposure to the professional environment. These may include data entry, organizing files, shadowing team members, helping with research, or participating in group projects. The aim is to develop your workplace skills, understand basic business operations, and gain valuable experience by collaborating with different departments. Supervisors typically provide guidance and regular feedback, ensuring that tasks are educational and appropriate for your experience level.
