ResponsibilitiesIn this position...- Identify opportunity areas for optimization and part reduction.
- Drive cost reduction, weight minimization, quality improvements.
- Coordinate with Core Teams on system optimization opportunities and manage change.
- Drive SET Adherence to Systems Engineering Operating Principles.
- Champion trade-off decisions to balance within the VHE Function.
What you'll do...- Lead Systems level sign-off for the assigned SET Zone
- Collaborate/work with team members and external partners on packaging, weight, cost, labor, timing, and integration from a systems perspective according to assigned vehicle area and content.
- Support functional sign-off and compatibility reviews to deliver all Program Milestones on-time with completed metrics.
- Drive cross-functional issue resolution (including program, finance, quality, attribute, manufacturing, STA, studio, color & materials sign off, suppliers etc.). Support escalation when needed.
- Manage total cost, content and other attributes & metrics within the SET Zone

QualificationsYou'll have...- Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
- 3+ years of experience in automotive systems design/engineering.
- Must have the knowledge of Systems Engineering Fundamental and Design Thinking

Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.
