Job description

Who We Are
Investortools has been a leader in fixed-income technology for over four decades, supporting institutional investors with portfolio management and credit analysis software systems. Our platform is trusted by hundreds of financial institutions, including SMA managers, fund managers, broker-dealers, and other market participants, to manage over $1 trillion in assets. We're committed to creative problem-solving, excellent service, and a collaborative culture rooted in strong values, offering you the opportunity to grow your skills and shape your career.
What You'll Do
As a Graphic Design Intern, you will play an important role in modernizing and maintaining our visual assets. You will convert existing PNG images into clean, scalable, SVG graphics, and update diagrams, icons, and illustrations to ensure accuracy, consistency, and usability. Working closely with Documentation, Marketing and UI, you will update images to reflect current functionality, improve clarity for end users, and apply design best practices for accessibility and responsiveness. This role offers hands-on experience with technical documentation workflows, UI design, and marketing, while building real-world skills in vector design, attention to detail, and structured content creation.
Responsibilities
  • Convert existing PNG images into clean, scalable SVG graphics using industry-standard design tools.
  • Update diagrams, icons, and visuals to improve clarity and consistency.
  • Apply basic design, branding, and accessibility best practices.
  • Collaborate with team members to understand requirements, receive feedback, and make revisions.
  • Organize and maintain design assets to support efficient processes.

What We're Looking For
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, UX/UI, Digital media, or a related field.
  • Basic experience creating or editing graphics using design software (academic or personal projects welcome).
  • Familiarity with vector graphic formats (such as PNG and SVG).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to closely match existing designs.
  • Organized, dependable, and able to manage tasks independently and meet deadlines.
  • A natural curiosity and desire to challenge yourself and those around you.
  • Eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.

Why Investortools?
