Mini-Circuits designs, manufactures and distributes integrated circuits, modules, and sub-systems for high-performance radio frequency (RF) and microwave applications. With design, sales and manufacturing locations in over 30 countries, Mini-Circuits' products are used in a range of wired and wireless communications applications. Our products are also used in detection, measurement and imaging applications, including military communication, guidance and electronic countermeasure systems, commercial, scientific, military land, sea and aircraft, automotive systems, medical systems, and industrial test equipment.
Mini-Circuits' sells its products to over 20,000 customers globally through our direct sales force, applications engineering staff, sales representatives, as well as through our extensive website.
Position Summary:
The Technical Recruiter is responsible for contributing to the full-cycle talent acquisition/recruitment process for all staff levels company-wide, in our non-union, domestic facilities with a population of 600+ employees throughout all US locations. This role will focus primarily on Engineering Talent: electrical, mechanical, software, IT, quality assurance, manufacturing & industrial engineers.
Salary range - $125,000 - $135,000
Job Function:
  • Work through the staffing requisition process, including the creation and advertising of requisitions, the job postings, sourcing, screening and vetting qualified candidates, and recommending those candidates to the hiring managers.
  • Conduct intake calls with hiring managers and interview panels to understand the job requirements, duties & responsibilities, and ideal candidate traits and qualifications (skills, education, related experience & other abilities)
  • Identify the most efficient and cost-effective recruiting methods.
  • Manage the interview process to include scheduling, preparing questions and other materials, and be the first interviewer who precedes the hiring managers.
  • Schedule and conduct interviews, recommend qualified candidates to department managers for further interviews, conduct reference checks, present offers, secure acceptances, and send out rejection letters.
  • Responsible for the written communications to the final candidate with the job offer details and other incentives that may apply.
  • Along with the HR team, manage the job offer process including employment verification/references, drug testing, background checks, hire date, starting salary, etc.
  • Help organize and participate in on-campus recruiting sessions and job fairs.
  • Manage career fair participation, internship and summer employment programs.
  • Source and recruit RF, Microwave, Semiconductor, Antenna, and Engineering professionals.
  • Evaluate candidates' technical expertise in RF system design, signal processing, antenna design, and test engineering.
  • Conduct technical screening interviews to assess candidate qualifications and industry experience.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in an HR or business-related field.
  • 5+ years of recent recruiting experience required, must have experience recruiting for engineering roles, electrical engineering preferred.
  • Experienced using various ATS platforms
  • Experienced using professional networks such as LinkedIn, Zip Recruiter, Glassdoor, Indeed and social networks like Google, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.
  • Experienced with university and professional recruiting sources
  • Ability to develop and execute sourcing strategies for the recruitment of highly technical engineering and other business professionals plus production line technicians and operators.
  • Strong professional presence; proven ability to effectively deal with senior-level management and handle highly confidential matters.
  • Related experience in the engineering tech space and/or manufacturing environments a strong plus.
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written).
  • Strong interpersonal skills; is a team player and can work well with others.
  • Must be a self-starter who takes initiative and is a proactive agent for change-anticipates needs and takes action without being told.
  • Must be able to meet tight deadlines and be flexible to changing workflow and demands.
  • Proven ability to manage recruit for multiple roles at the same time and manage various projects with competing deadlines.
  • Strong conflict resolution, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably supporting engineering, telecommunications, aerospace, defense, or wireless technology organizations.
  • Experience recruiting for RF Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Wireless Communications, Microwave Engineering, Antenna Design or related manufacturing experience.
