Overview
Lutron is seeking a RF Engineering Intern to join our collaborative team and contribute to high-impact projects. In this role, you will help in the design and development of wireless technology that powers smart lighting and shading systems in homes and commercial spaces around the globe. At Lutron, your interest in RF engineering will grow through hands-on experience, practical skill-building, and collaboration with experienced engineers in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities
Your internship at Lutron could offer you the opportunity to work on:
  • Design for electromagnetic compatibility, noise immunity, and thermal dissipation
  • Analog/RF circuit design, analysis, and verification to ensure certification compliance
  • Rapid prototyping and design for manufacturing
  • Driving active projects in partnership with cross functional teams
  • Learning and applying newly adopted tools and technologies to enhance system performance, reliability, and scalability

Qualifications
We seek talented, success-minded people with the desire and ability to make things happen. Our baseline requirements are simple:
  • You are pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Electronics Engineering
  • Your cumulative GPA is at least 3.20
  • You are a rising junior, rising senior, or master's student at the start of the internship
  • You have broad interests in engineering design and development
  • You are authorized to work in the U.S. and will not require Lutron to sponsor you for any work visa, such as an H-1B, either immediately or at any time in the future. Lutron does not offer work visa sponsorship for this position.
  • Willingness and ability to work on-site 5 days per week
