Intern Full Stack Software Developer Jobs in Lubbock, TX

We are seeking a highly motivated Data Center Technician to support the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of critical data center infrastructure across multiple locations. This role is ideal for individuals with strong hardware and Linux experience who thrive in dynamic environments and enjoy extensive travel.

The successful candidate will serve as a hands-on technical resource, supporting server and network hardware deployments, performing diagnostics and repairs, and ensuring data center operations maintain the highest levels of performance and reliability.

• Support day-to-day data center operations to ensure maximum uptime, availability, and reliability.
• Install, configure, rack, stack, and cable server and networking equipment.
• Perform hardware diagnostics, troubleshooting, repairs, and component replacements.
• Conduct root cause analysis of hardware, software, and infrastructure-related issues.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and operational standards.
• Provide technical support and guidance to local data center teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Create and maintain scripts used to update, automate, and manage server and network hardware.
• Maintain accurate inventory records for hardware, spare parts, tools, and equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and testing of tools, equipment, and infrastructure.
• Assist with hardware refreshes, deployments, migrations, and decommissioning activities.
• Support escalation efforts and participate in after-hours maintenance or emergency response activities as needed.
• Travel extensively to data center locations nationwide to support operational projects and customer requirements.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Wolfforth, TX.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $50.00/hr.
