Client Global Services (BGS) wants you to join client as a Fighter/Attack Aircrew Training Subject Matter Expert and be at the forefront of shaping the future of air combat training! This is a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise as a seasoned fighter pilot/WSO and become a key player in developing cutting-edge training solutions that directly impact on the readiness and success of our nation's most advanced aircrews. You will design and deliver innovative, immersive learning experiences tailored specifically for high-performance 5th generation fighter aircraft, including iconic platforms like the F-22, F-15, and F/A-18 and the next generation of aircraft.
 
At Client, you won't just be instructing you'll be pioneering the next generation of aircrew training and simulators that replicate real-world combat environments with unmatched precision. Collaborate with elite engineers and test teams to validate and enhance these systems, ensuring they meet the rigorous demands of today's warfighters. Your deep operational knowledge will be critical in shaping training programs that save lives and maintain air dominance worldwide.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in fighter/attack pilot training and tactics development, focusing on 4th and 5th generation high-performance aircraft.
  • Design, develop, and deliver innovative technical learning solutions tailored for aircrew training requirements.
  • Develop and maintain courseware and training content aligned with complex aircrew learning objectives and customer needs.
  • Instruct advanced pilot training courses and evaluate program effectiveness using customer feedback and operational data.
  • Develop CONOPS/Mission Assurance plan and deliver pilot simulator verification/test using Client Full Mission Simulators (FMS)
  • Operate the Instructor Operating Station (IOS) to execute approved training syllabi.
  • Support military pilots in maintaining qualification levels through upgrade and tactics training within Client's training systems.
  • Implement and support Client initiatives, programs, and policies to maintain training excellence and compliance.
  • Adhere to site security and access control procedures in accordance with Client and customer requirements.
  • Ensure proper handling and sanitization of classified media and training materials in compliance with Client and customer security protocols.
  • Collaborate closely with Client training teams and customer representatives at dedicated training sites to meet training and continuation training objectives.
  • Maintain appropriate security clearances as required by Client and customer programs.
Requirements:
  • Relevant degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience combined with specialized training and professional experience aligned with the assignment.
  • Extensive experience as a Pilot/WSO Fighter/Attack Subject Matter Expert (SME) with knowledge of 4th and/or 5th generation high-performance fighter aircraft.
  • Proven ability to lead the design and delivery of complex aircrew training solutions and courseware development.
  • Demonstrated expertise in pilot training, tactics development, and evaluation of training effectiveness.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively across multiple functional areas and diverse personnel.
  • Flexibility to perform additional duties and related responsibilities as assigned to support Client training mission.
Preferred Qualifications:
Flight Instruction Techniques: Familiarity with effective flight instruction methodologies/assessment techniques and AETC experience as a SUPT or IFF instructor pilot.
Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of crew resource management, flight planning, and industry regulations, along with advanced pilot aviation skills.
Course Development: Experience in developing comprehensive training materials, including syllabus development, lesson plans and multimedia resources.
Typical Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience, 18 years' related work experience, etc.).
