Job description

At Pixel, we’re on a mission to connect a fragmented healthcare system through a unified fertility management and support platform. We bring patients, providers, and pharmacies together, so information flows freely, questions are answered, and treatment is supported every step of the way.
We believe patients deserve more than prescriptions – they deserve guidance, education, and compassionate support throughout their fertility journey. That’s why we’re building a platform that empowers patients while connecting them with the healthcare professionals, resources, and community they need to feel informed and supported.
About the Role
We're looking for a compassionate, clinically driven Staff Pharmacist to join our growing team in Austin, Texas. As an integral member of our clinical team, you'll deliver safe, accurate, and personalized care while supporting patients throughout every stage of their fertility journey.
Working alongside an interdisciplinary team, you’ll exercise independent clinical judgment while collaborating closely with pharmacists, nurses, and patient care teams in a fast-paced, technology-enabled startup. Beyond clinical excellence, we're looking for candidates who bring empathy, accountability, curiosity, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
This is a full-time, on-site position based in our Austin headquarters, reporting directly to the Pharmacist in Charge. The role primarily operates Monday through Friday, with participation in a monthly Saturday rotation and a monthly one-week on-call schedule. Limited travel (up to 10%) may be required to support business needs.
What You’ll Do:
  • Perform clinical review and verification of prescriptions while ensuring accuracy, patient safety, and regulatory compliance.
  • Provide patient counseling, medication education, and clinical support throughout the patient care journey.
  • Serve as a clinical resource for pharmacy technicians, patient care teams, and cross-functional partners.
  • Collaborate with prescribers and healthcare providers to clarify prescriptions, resolve therapy questions, and optimize patient care.
  • Independently manage assigned prescription workflows from intake through final verification and completion.
  • Assist with workload balancing by stepping into priority workflows as patient volume demands.
  • Support quality assurance initiatives, workflow improvements, and continuous process enhancement.
  • Maintain complete and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations.
  • Participate in on-call responsibilities and occasional weekend coverage as scheduled.
  • Help foster a culture centered on patient experience, teamwork, accountability, and operational excellence.

Who You Are:
  • A compassionate healthcare professional who enjoys building meaningful relationships with patients.
  • A collaborative team player who values open communication and shared success.
  • A critical thinker who exercises sound clinical judgment and remains calm under pressure.
  • You embrace continuous learning and look for opportunities to improve the patient experience.

What You’ll Bring:
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BS Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited school of pharmacy.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience as a pharmacist intern and/ or licensed pharmacist.
  • Active, unrestricted Texas Pharmacist license.
  • Eligibility and willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure in additional states as business needs require.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in specialty pharmacy, fertility, women's health, or another related clinical specialty.
  • Multi-state pharmacist licensure.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, technology-enabled pharmacy environment.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.

Why You’ll Love Working Here
You'll join a collaborative team that believes exceptional patient care begins with exceptional people. As a growing healthcare startup, we’re building something meaningful together – finding new ways to support patients while empowering our team members to contribute ideas, drive improvements, and make a lasting impact.
Our Values
  • Empathetic – We meet every patient with compassion and understanding.
  • Confident – We bring expertise and sound clinical judgment to every interaction.
  • Positive – We approach challenges with optimism and a solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Driven – We continuously seek opportunities to improve patient outcomes and operational excellence.
  • Transparent – We communicate openly, honestly, and with integrity.

If you're passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and excited by the opportunity to help build the future of fertility healthcare, we'd love to hear from you!
