Position Overview
The Manager, Corporate Strategy & CEO Initiatives, will serves as a strategic thought partner to the Chief Executive Officer and executive leadership team. This highly visible role is designed for a candidate with a strong foundation in life sciences, finance, consulting, and business strategy.
The individual works directly with the CEO on the company's highest-priority initiatives, including corporate strategy, business development, commercial planning, portfolio optimization, competitive intelligence, investor-related analyses, strategic partnerships, and special projects. The role offers unique exposure across all aspects of the business and is intended to develop future leadership talent within Tonix. This role is a hybrid work environment with 3 days in the office, split between the NY and NJ office.
Essential Duties
  • Support development and execution of corporate and portfolio strategy.
  • Evaluate growth opportunities, partnerships, licensing transactions, and acquisitions.
  • Develop strategic analyses to support executive decision-making.
  • Conduct competitive intelligence and market assessments.
  • Partner directly with the CEO on strategic initiatives and special projects.
  • Prepare executive-level presentations, analyses, and board materials.
  • Coordinate cross-functional initiatives involving Commercial, Clinical Development, Regulatory, Manufacturing, Finance, and Corporate Development.
  • Drive follow-up and execution on key leadership priorities.
  • Support diligence efforts for licensing, M&A, and strategic partnership opportunities.
  • Build financial models and valuation analyses.
  • Assess market attractiveness, competitive positioning, and commercial opportunity.
  • Analyze market trends, reimbursement dynamics, and competitive landscapes.
  • Evaluate product lifecycle opportunities and portfolio prioritization decisions.
  • Support launch planning and long-range strategic planning initiatives.
  • Assist with investor-related strategic projects and benchmarking activities.
  • Monitor industry trends and peer company performance.

Qualifications
  • MBA from a top-tier business school.
  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences, business, finance, economics, engineering, or related discipline.
  • 3-7 years of experience in management consulting, life sciences strategy, healthcare investing, corporate strategy, business development, or investment banking.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities.
  • Exceptional PowerPoint, Excel, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated interest in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, and healthcare innovation.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in life sciences consulting, healthcare private equity, venture capital, or biopharmaceutical corporate strategy.
  • Exposure to valuation, diligence, and transaction support activities.
  • Experience preparing executive-level and board-level materials.

Salary Range
$90,000-$150,000 USD
