This internship is ideal for students pursuing degrees in electrical, mechanical, or civil engineering who are curious about the energy industry and eager to learn.

  • Assist in designing physical substation components such as yard layouts, grounding, and control building arrangements.
  • Support the development of protection and control schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Help prepare design drawings, calculations, and bills of material.
  • Learn and apply engineering standards including NEC, NESC, IEEE, and ANSI.
  • Participate in quality reviews and collaborate with engineers to refine designs.
