Requisition Summary

PACCAR, manufacturer of Kenworth, Peterbilt and DAF commercial vehicles, seeks a high potential candidate for its Leadership Development Program.  This 12-18 month management training program rotates through short term assignments in key areas.  Upon successful completion, candidates are placed in mid management positions in one of the following fields: accounting, engineering, finance, human resources, information technology, leasing, operations, production or sales/marketing.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

This program is a fast track to leadership in which participants learn about PACCAR businesses, develop important relationships, and sharpen the skills necessary to carry them through to the next level of their careers.

Participants in the program will:

  • Experience a wide variety of global rotational assignments over an 18 month period
  • Develop versatility by working in business functions beyond the scope of previous studies or professional experience
  • Receive mentoring from a PACCAR Senior Executive 
  • Gain international business experience at various PACCAR locations
  • Outplace into a leadership position of significant responsibility within PACCAR
Education
  • MBA or MS in Engineering, Information Technology or other business-related filed from an accredited institution
Qualifications
  • 7 years of responsible work experience (at least one year as a supervisor)
  • Strong technical leadership in the areas of Autonomy, Connectivity and/or Electrification
  • Willingness to travel 50% of the time and relocate upon completion of the program
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, communication skills and professionalism
  • Multi-lingual skills speaking, reading and writing.
