Job description

Landmark is a leading provider of engineering, construction, and asset management services for storage solutions in the water, wastewater, power, and industrial markets. We operate throughout North America and have built our reputation on delivering the most challnging projects with a high degree of efficiency and precision.
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Civil/Structural Engineering Intern to support our design-build engineering team during the summer. This role provides hands-on experience working alongside engineers in fast-paced design-build environment for tanks and tank-related structures for the municipal water and industrial markets.
Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide engineering support for water towers and above ground tanks. You will learn about steel plate and reinforced concrete structures. You will review geotechnical reports to select and design complex foundations.
  • Assist in the preparation of structural and civil design calculations, drawings, and specifications
  • Review shop drawings and submittals for compliance with project requirements.
  • Maintain organized project documentation and records and apply customer specifications, design standards, and building codes including: AWWA D107 & D100, API, IBC, ASCE, ACI, and AISC.

Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in civil engineering or structural engineering.
  • Completed coursework in structural analysis, mechanics of materials, and/or civil design fundamentals preferred.
  • Basic understanding of engineering principles and construction methods.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software is a plus.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
