We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead the design and execution of electrical systems across a diverse portfolio of commercial and residential construction projects. This role is ideal for a licensed Professional Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership of complex designs, and is confident serving as the engineer of record. You'll play a key role in delivering code-compliant, high-performing designs while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  • Lead end-to-end electrical design for commercial and residential projects, including power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage systems
  • Review, stamp, and seal engineering documents, ensuring full accountability for accuracy, quality, and code compliance
  • Produce and oversee high-quality electrical plans, schematics, specifications, and construction documents
  • Perform and validate complex design calculations (load, voltage drop, short circuit, etc.) to ensure system performance and reliability
  • Coordinate across internal teams, clients, and contractors to resolve design challenges and drive successful project execution
  • Mentor other engineers and EITs while contributing to project management activities (budgets, schedules, deliverables) and continuous improvement efforts

WHAT YOU BRING:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and active PE license (or ability to obtain in Montana)
  • 6+ years of experience designing electrical systems for commercial and/or residential construction projects
  • Strong expertise in power distribution, lighting design, and low-voltage systems
  • Deep working knowledge of NEC and applicable electrical codes and standards
  • Proven ability to lead complex designs, perform advanced calculations, and deliver high-quality construction documents
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Excel, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
