Job description


The Marketing Intern will be responsible for assisting in the maintenance and content creation for social media platforms, WordPress website, and the creation of digital and print content for Brandeis Hospitality. The Marketing Intern will be required to interact with students, guests, and employees in a professional manner. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs. *Must be a student at Brandeis University*
Compensation Data
COMPENSATION: The Hourly rate for this position is $15.00 to $15.00. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark's good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities
  • Engage with guests with a positive and welcoming attitude.
  • Aid in the planning and execution of a full calendar of marketing events.
  • Assist in designing, ideating and maintaining a variety of signage, both physical and digital, around campus to promote events and encourage meal plan sales
  • Analyze weekly social media strategy, analytic reports and assist in generating marketing proposals.
  • Assist in driving revenue at multiple dining locations by planning promotions and engaging in students.
  • Build photography inventory daily.
  • Create engaging content for website design and website maintenance.
  • Work to improve brand presence on all campus dining social media platforms.
  • Stay up to date with digital media technology and trends.

Qualifications
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, or relevant field
  • Strong visual eye
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks at once
  • Familiarity with a wide variety of social media platforms
  • Experience in photography, videography and editing
  • Experience planning, setting up and executing events
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must be a student at Brandeis University

Knowledge and love of food is a plus!
This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective equipment (PPE).
