Job description

As a Financial Applications Analyst, you'll play a pivotal role in optimizing DLP Capital's business application capabilities. You'll drive the ongoing administration, documentation, training, define reporting, integrations, requirements and strategic enhancements of business applications. Collaborating closely with Lending, Accounting/Finance, Funds, Construction & Technology departments. You'll configure & administer Bankpoint LOS (loan operating system), Sage Intacct, Abrigo CECL & Sageworks, AvidExchange, Titanium and various applications to seamlessly align with DLP's evolving operational needs, policies, and procedures.
What you have already achieved: (Requirements)
  • 3 years experience in Commercial Real Estate (CRE) lending, private equity/fund accounting, or financial application management.
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or a related quantitative field. 3 years equivalent experience could substitute a degree.
  • Requirements Gathering: Demonstrated ability to lead business process mapping workshops, document business requirements (BRDs), and create functional design specifications (FDS).
  • 1+ year of experience working within Agile or Scrum frameworks, including participating in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to successfully deploy application enhancements and feature rollouts.
  • Strong understanding of data mapping, system integrations, and implementing measures to ensure data integrity and prevent corruption during module rollouts
  • Ability to design test plans, coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and schedule change requests for production environments
  • Experience coordinating with business stakeholders, software vendors, and external consultants to design, test, and document solutions.

  • Responsible for the administration, monitoring, maintenance, and technical support of core banking, credit analysis, accounting, and construction management systems-including Bankpoint, Abrigo Sageworks, Abrigo CECL, AvidExchange, Timberline Titanium, and Sage Intacct-ensuring optimal system performance, integrity, and alignment with workflows.
  • Lead the implementation lifecycle for new modules, features, and third-party integrations across DLP Capital's business applications.
  • Conduct thorough business process reviews to discover automation opportunities, design optimized workflows, and create clear documentation.
  • Plan and execute go-live strategies for application enhancements, including user training and post-launch adoption tracking.
  • Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, translating business needs into well-defined Jira tickets and managing the 2-week sprint backlog.
  • Performance of application audits to verify systems are configured properly and permissions/security settings align with company policies.
  • Define requirements for functions, reporting and other IT automations.
  • Take ownership of both simple and advanced configuration tickets and troubleshoot system performance issues within assigned applications.
  • Works independently on special IT projects as assigned by the Senior Director of Business and Financial Systems.
  • Conduct Application Audits to verify applications are configured and being used properly
