Your contributions are...
- Lead the translation of high-level research objectives into scalable, cloud-native system architectures
- Conduct deep-dive research into next-generation CDN technologies, edge computing, traffic routing, and caching strategies
- Design and implement automated, resilient CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions for testbed and production-grade environments
- Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including system designs, architectural decisions, deployment processes, and research findings
- Work closely with researchers, software engineers, and network specialists to build robust environments that support cutting-edge distributed systems experimentation
Requirements for your new career...
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline. (Additional 4 years of experience may substitute degree)
- 12 years of experience in systems engineering
- Proven experience as a Systems Engineer, Cloud Architect, or similar role focused on highly distributed systems
- Deep understanding of cloud-native architectures and ecosystems
- Knowledge of Content Delivery Networks, edge caching, load balancing, DNS, and core network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP/2/3, TLS, BGP)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code and configuration management tools such as Terraform and GitLab CI/CD
- Strong ability to gather complex requirements, model systems, and design solutions that balance performance, security, and scalability
- Excellent written communication skills with experience producing clear, detailed technical documentation for complex systems
