Job description

AM Restaurant Server

Schedule (as needed):

  • Monday – Friday: 5:00 AM – 11:00 AM

  • Saturday & Sunday: 6:00 AM – 12:00 PM

We are seeking a friendly, reliable AM Restaurant Server to join our morning team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys early mornings, delivering excellent guest service, and working in a fast-paced breakfast environment.  Server responsibilities include all aspects of food preparation, service, and cleanup, including wiping down tables, engaging in a meaningful way with guests, cleanup and preparation for the next day. You will also be required to occasionally clean or assist other departments as needed. Ultimately, you will ensure a pleasant and comfortable experience for our guests during their stay with us.

Essential Functions:

  • Aid Manager/Supervisor with menu full service as requested
  • Bus tables during Dinner and special Guest functions
  • Clean any spills immediately. Maintain clean public and work areas at all times
  • Complete Food Service Training as required by State Laws
  • Greet all Guests coming into food service areas. Check with Guests to make sure everything is to their liking
  • Keep coffee urns full
  • Notify Manager of any problems or Guest comments
  • Practice the highest standards of cleanliness during food handling
  • Properly use all chemicals and equipment per manufacturer’s guidelines
  • Set up and maintain all food and beverage items during any hours of food service, meeting room, and/or special Guest functions ensuring proper amounts and temperature
  • Strictly adhere to Company policies and procedures with regard to serving alcoholic beverages, wine and beer
  • Upon completion of food service, clean up the area in accordance with standards and procedures
  • Remain aware of any and all potential security problems and report them to your Supervisor and/or the GM/MOD
  • Follow emergency procedures, Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS), safety precautions and safest work habits
  • Follow proper key control procedure for issued keys
  • Carry out any reasonable request by Management

Education, Experience, Other Requirements:

Required

  • Flexibility to work in shifts and report for scheduled shifts
  • Ability to work with little or no supervision while meeting high-performance standards
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Ability to follow instructions

Preferred

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Work experience in Customer Service in the Hospitality Field
  • Experience with hotel operation systems
