Remote Sensing data refers to those collected using infrared imagery (OPIR), hyperspectral imagery (HSI), radar (SAR/GMTI), full motion video (FMV), Wide Are Motion Imagery (WAMI), and 3D data from a range of sources. Roles & Responsibilities: * Provide technical leadership by applying data analysis and AI techniques to solve and enhance the sponsor's mission.
* Select and evaluate AI models to solve a wide variety of sponsor problems (forecasting, classification, triage). Tailor models for use in production and develop methods to evaluate their effectiveness.
* Design and implement data normalization and ETL functions to prepare data for studies and further analysis.
* Define and execute technical studies of data analysis including hypothesis formulation, experiment design and experiment execution with small teams.
* Propose technical approaches and prototype solutions to validate study concepts and demonstrate mission value.
* Document and discuss prototypes and study results and to formulate technical approach to transition into wider production use. Basic Qualifications: * Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of experience in artificial intelligence with a bachelor's degree in a relevant field; or 6 years and a master's degree; or a PhD with 3 years' experience; or equivalent combination of AI-related education and work experience.
* Hands-on experience fine-tuning, deploying, and evaluating large language models and Agentic AI
* Demonstrated advanced skills with Python and the standard AI technical stack
* Ability to work independently to learn new technologies, methods, processes, frameworks/platforms, and systems
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate challenging technical concepts to both lay and expert audiences
* Per the U.S. Government's eligibility requirements, you must be a U.S Citizen to be considered for a security clearance. * Active TS/SCI with Full Polygraph clearance
* This position requires a minimum of 4 days a week on-site Preferred Qualifications: * Advanced degree in computer science, engineering, or related disciplines
* Track record of successful deployment of AI/ML systems or components that have been used by customers or stakeholders outside of a lab/experimental setting
* Experience leading small and medium-sized teams to solve complex technical challenges
* Understanding of TCP/IP networking and common application protocols.
* Experience deploying robust, optimized solutions through MLOPs pipelines
* Experience utilizing in an HPC environment for training large models This requisition requires the candidate to have a minimum of the following clearance(s):
