Job description

We are currently seeking a Golf Car & Equipment Set up Technician at our Snohomish branch. This is a full-time position and is an awesome opportunity for a mechanically inclined individual who is seeking a career outside of the standard day-to-day automotive industry role. Individuals interested in everything from small engine repair, electrical diagnosis, accessory installation and design, and equipment assembly can excel in this position. We are looking for a candidate with a good mechanical aptitude that is ready and willing to learn. JOB DETAILS:
  • Assemble new golf carts for stock/fleet/retail sold and install any requested accessories.
  • Perform complete inspection and refurbishment of pre-owned golf carts to include (but not limited to); replacement of cowl/body/roof, installation of a large variety of accessories, custom wheels/tires.
  • Cleaning and detailing units prior to sale.
  • Perform thorough pre-delivery inspections to ensure quality.
  • Setup of golf cars and turf equipment
  • Diagnosing and repairing all makes and models of golf cars
  • Write service reports that accurately reflect work performed and parts used
  • Maintain all equipment and ensure tools are in good working condition
  • Maintain general housekeeping duties in shop and property maintenance
  • Work with the Service Manager to ensure consistent workflow
  • Help maintain and support safety policies
  • Ability to read, write and communicate with co-workers and managers

KNOWLEDGE AND REQUIREMENTS:
  • 1 year of applicable experience. Vehicle accessory installation, equipment set up, mechanic, technician, or maintenance. Golf industry experience a plus.
  • Mechanical aptitude and basic electrical knowledge
  • Basic set of hand tools, power tools, and electrical diagnostic tools
  • Ability to clearly follow written and verbal instructions
  • Must be in good physical condition, requiring continuous lifting up to 50 pounds routinely during the course of a shift. This position requires heavy lifting, carrying, pushing, bending, twisting and pulling on a daily basis
  • Current driver's license and reliable means of transportation and must be insurable

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Hourly, Full Time
Compensation: $23 - $25 per hour DOE
Benefits: Benefits package available for medical, dental, vision, life, and disability coverages. In addition to holiday, vacation, and sick pay. Also, a 401(k) Plan with a company match
