Dignity Health Mercy San Juan Medical Center is a 384-bed not-for-profit Level 2 Trauma Center located in Carmichael California. We have served north Sacramento County as well as south Placer County for over 50 years. Our facility is one of the area's largest medical centers and also one of the most comprehensive. Our staff and volunteers are dedicated to community well-being; providing excellent patient care to all. Mercy San Juan Medical Center is a Comprehensive Stroke Center as well as a Spine Center of Excellence. As our Occupational Therapist, you will provide essential in-home occupational therapy services under physician's orders. Your role involves evaluating home safety, assessing functional needs, and implementing tailored treatment to promote independence.

Every day you will evaluate home safety, assess functional needs of physically disabled patients, then develop, plan, and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment procedures.

To be successful, you will demonstrate strong assessment, treatment planning, and implementation skills for in-home care. Excellent communication for patient education and a commitment to promoting independence and safety are essential.


Required

  • Completed an accredited school of Occupational Therapy and Previous experience as a OccupationalTherapist or Occupational Therapist student/ intern, upon hire
  • Occupational Therapist: CA, within 6 - months
  • Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
