The approximate date of this internship is January 2027 to June 2027 and will be located in Orlando, FL.

What You Will Do

We are looking for a Civil Engineering intern who will work within the department responsible for civil engineering including design, analysis, calculations and specifications for hydrology/hydraulics, sanitary and storm sewerage, storm water management, water treatment, potable water and other utilities for the site/area development of an individual facility/attraction, land, or theme park project. As an intern on the team, you will have the opportunity to...

  • Be responsible for civil engineering design and calculation tasks
  • Make decisions within established guidelines and provide, under supervision, engineering design and analysis in support of the production of construction contract documents
  • Communicate across multiple teams including structural, mechanical and electrical engineering teams to facilitate coordination of work

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • General knowledge of the civil engineering curriculum, with concentration in the areas of grading, hydrology/hydraulics, detention/retention ponds, sanitary and storm sewerage, potable water and utility coordination
  • Proficient in the use of AutoCAD Civil 3D

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active membership in a professional engineering organization
  • Engineer-in-Training certified

Education

Currently enrolled as a Junior or higher attending an accredited college/university earning a degree in Civil Engineering

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:

  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Possess unrestricted work authorization
  • Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program.

The pay rate for this role in Orlando, FL is $31 per hour for undergraduate students and $36 per hour for graduate level students.
