Job description

Job Title: Manufacturing Intern (LM)
Job Summary
The Manufacturing Intern at LM supports daily operations within a manufacturing environment while gaining hands-on experience aligned with their academic discipline. This role is designed to provide practical exposure to industrial processes, continuous improvement initiatives, and cross-functional collaboration. Specific responsibilities and project assignments will vary based on the intern's field of study (e.g., engineering, supply chain, quality, operations, etc.).
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in day-to-day manufacturing and production activities to support operational efficiency
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives, including data collection, analysis, and reporting
  • Support documentation efforts such as standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and process flows
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, maintenance, and engineering
  • Observe and contribute to safety practices, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards
  • Assist with troubleshooting production issues and identifying root causes
  • Participate in team meetings, providing input and updates on assigned tasks or projects
  • Complete assigned projects aligned with academic discipline and present findings or recommendations
