In this role you will:

  • Lead the design, governance, evolution, and optimization of our Blue Yonder Warehouse Management landscape. This individual will serve as the primary technical and functional authority for Blue Yonder solutions, partnering with business stakeholders, product owners, system integrators, and engineering teams to deliver scalable, resilient, and business-driven warehouse solutions.
  • The ideal candidate combines deep Blue Yonder expertise with strong supply chain process knowledge, enterprise integration experience, and architectural leadership. This role will be critical in driving strategic initiatives including cloud migrations, system upgrades, warehouse transformations, automation enablement, and SAP integration programs.
Solution Architecture & Strategy
  • Own the end-to-end architecture for Blue Yonder WMS solutions across multiple distribution centers and business units.
  • Define solution roadmaps aligned with business strategy and technology standards.
  • Lead architecture reviews and ensure compliance with enterprise architecture principles.
  • Evaluate new Blue Yonder capabilities and recommend adoption strategies.
Blue Yonder WMS Leadership
  • Design and govern complex warehouse processes including: Receiving Putaway Inventory Management Replenishment Picking Packing Shipping Cycle Counting Yard Management Labor Management
  • Configure and optimize Blue Yonder WMS to meet evolving operational requirements.
  • Provide architectural guidance for complex enhancements and solution extensions.
Integration Architecture
  • Define enterprise integration patterns between Blue Yonder and:SAP S/4HANA SAP EWM SAP ECC Transportation Management systems Automation platforms Material Handling Equipment (MHE) Robotics and AMR solutions Middleware platforms (MuleSoft, SAP Integration Suite, Unify, APIs)
  • Lead interface design and troubleshooting for:Master data Inventory synchronization Order processing ASN processing Shipment execution Real-time warehouse events
Technical Governance
  • Review and approve solution designs developed by implementation partners.
  • Establish coding, configuration, and deployment standards.
  • Drive technical debt reduction and platform modernization initiatives.
  • Mentor solution engineers, developers, and business analysts.
Program & Project Leadership
  • Act as the architecture lead for global implementations, upgrades, and acquisitions.
  • Support project estimations, risk assessments, and solution planning activities.
  • Facilitate design workshops with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Ensure scalable and supportable solutions are delivered.
Operational Excellence
  • Provide expert-level support for critical incidents and major production issues.
  • Perform solution health assessments and architecture reviews.
  • Develop long-term strategies to improve warehouse performance, stability, and maintainability.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Supply Chain or related field.
  • Experience as a Solution Architect, Technical Lead, Senior Functional Consultant, or equivalent technical leadership role.
  • 8+ years of Supply Chain and Warehouse Management experience.
  • 7+ years of hands-on Blue Yonder (JDA) WMS experience.
  • Proven experience designing, configuring, troubleshooting and optimizing Blue Yonder WMS solutions.
  • Experience leading end-to-end Blue Yonder WMS implementations and large transformation projects.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, replenishment, picking, packing, shipping and distribution center processes.
  • Ability to lead technical discussions, influence stakeholders and translate technical solutions into business outcomes.
  • Hands-on approach with the ability to support troubleshooting and critical production incidents when required.
  • Ability to mentor technical team members and provide architectural guidance across projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Blue Yonder WMS Certification.
  • Experience with Blue Yonder SaaS and Public Cloud deployments.
  • Experience leading Blue Yonder upgrade and migration programs.
  • Experience with Manhattan WMS and/or SAP EWM.
  • Experience integrating warehouse automation technologies such as Robotics, AMRs, Conveyors, Voice Picking, Pick-to-Light and Sortation Systems.
  • Experience in Consumer Products, Manufacturing or large-scale Distribution environments.
  • PMP, TOGAF or similar certifications.
  • Experience working in global environments supporting Americas operations.
  • Demonstrated potential to assume future technical leadership responsibilities.
