Sycamore Life Sciences — Sales Associate, Intern (REMOTE)

Sycamore Life Sciences is seeking a driven and detail‐oriented Sales Intern to support our commercial team's efforts to grow and manage customer relationships across academic, biotech, and pharma accounts. This role is designed for a student or early‐career professional interested in life sciences and B2B sales, and offers hands‐on exposure to the full sales cycle. The intern will work closely with leadership and the commercial team to drive outreach, qualify opportunities, and support account growth. This is a part-time internship role, and the candidates must reside in the Greater Dallas, TX region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospecting & Outreach
    • Research and identify new leads across academic, biotech, and pharma accounts.
    • Conduct outbound outreach via phone and email to prospective customers and partners.
    • Assist with follow‐up communication to keep opportunities moving through the pipeline.
  • Account & CRM Support
    • Qualify inbound and outbound leads and route them appropriately within the commercial team.
    • Maintain and update CRM records (HubSpot) to ensure accurate lead and account data.
    • Help track customer inquiries and coordinate timely responses.
  • Sales Enablement
    • Assist with preparing sales materials, quotes, and customer‐facing account summaries.
    • Support the sales team in developing product summaries and pitch materials.
    • Help maintain accuracy across product and pricing records used in customer conversations.
  • Market & Competitive Insight
    • Support research projects, competitive benchmarking, and market insights to inform sales strategy.
    • Assist with identifying target accounts and territory planning.
  • Special Projects
    • Participate in cross‐functional initiatives related to commercial strategy and account growth.
    • Shadow experienced sales professionals in customer meetings and calls.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable making phone calls and reaching out to new contacts.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working with data, spreadsheets, and CRM tools
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‐paced environment.
  • Curiosity, initiative, and willingness to learn.
  • Must be able to work from the Greater Dallas, TX region.
