Job Description

The Future Talent Program features internships that last up to 12 weeks and will include one or more projects. These opportunities in our Global Support Function Division can provide you with great development and a chance to see if we are the right company for your long-term goals.

Process Safety is a technical specialty in biopharmaceutical manufacturing that focuses on preventing and controlling the release of hazardous materials and energy to protect employees, the environment, and the integrity of critical production processes.

The Process Safety Center of Excellence Intern will provide compliance and technical support related to Process Safety to Company facilities worldwide.

Projects
  • Assisting with Process Safety program implementation and improvements.
  • Assisting with Data Analysis associated with Process Safety program implementation.
  • Supporting Process Safety activities at Company sites.
  • Supporting the development of innovative tools for Process Safety program improvement.
Required Education / Skills
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelors/ Masterโ€™s Degree in Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Biology or another technical program.
  • Completed at least 2 years of College course work
  • Able to work full time for a period of 10-12 weeks
  • Critical thinking, communication, problem-solving and computer skills
  • Ability to receive verbal or written direction and implement corresponding changes
  • Ability to think critically about process inefficiencies and propose solutions
Preferred Skills
  • Prior internship or work experience in the Environmental, Health, and Safety field or in pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical/chemical manufacturing.
  • Ability to convey ideas and explain decisions in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to work in a small team
Salary

The salary range for this role is $$39,908 - $111,111 USD.
