This role offers hands-on engineering experience, including diagnostics, product investigations, equipment testing, and technical analysis. You'll work alongside experienced engineering and operations teams, contributing to meaningful projects that directly support product quality and customer satisfaction.

We are seeking candidates who are pursuing or have completed a degree in Biomedical Engineering or Electrical Engineering. Current students in these fields are encouraged to apply.

Please note: This is an on-site position based in Vancouver, WA. Candidates must reside in the Vancouver, WA / Portland, OR area or be able to commute daily to our headquarters. Applications from candidates seeking remote work or requiring relocation will not be considered.

What You'll Do

  •  Complete component-level updates, repairs, and enhancements on medical devices.
  • Conduct engineering experiments and investigations related to manufacturing equipment, processes, and product performance.
  • Investigate customer-reported issues, including non-conforming products, product complaints, and device failures; document analyses and findings.
  • Perform occasional circuit board and component repairs, including soldering and de-soldering of electronic components.
  • Install and operate computer-based diagnostic tools; analyze performance data and summarize results.
  • Complete engineering investigation documentation, NCR reports, and other required quality paperwork.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and use equipment properly.
  • Perform other engineering or technical tasks as assigned.

Requirements

What you Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field, or current enrollment in an accredited two-year or four-year program in one of these disciplines, with at least one year of completed coursework. Electronics coursework or hands-on experience is preferred.
  • Strong analytical reasoning, problem-solving skills, and basic understanding of engineering principles.
  • Clear communication skills and ability to collaborate with teammates and vendors.
  • Comfortable with basic math, record-keeping, and inventory-related tasks.
  • Ability to use (and learn) manufacturing software and hardware tools.
  • Must adhere to all safety procedures.

Additional Necessities
