The Position:
We are seeking a Supply Chain & Data Analytics Intern to support the development of a next-generation Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) capability, including foundational work toward AI-driven planning models.
This role will focus on organizing, cleaning, and structuring supply chain and commercial data to enable advanced analytics and future predictive modeling.
Location: This is a hybrid role based out of our San Diego or South San Francisco office.
Key Responsibilities
  • Clean, standardize, and structure datasets across:
  • Demand forecasts
  • Inventory and supply data
  • Commercial / sales inputs
  • Support development of data pipelines for S&OP reporting and modeling
  • Identify data gaps, inconsistencies, and process inefficiencies
  • Build basic dashboards / reporting views (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Excel)
  • Assist in early-stage model inputs for predictive forecasting / AI initiatives
  • Document data definitions, assumptions, and transformation logic

Learning Opportunities
  • Exposure to enterprise S&OP processes in a regulated diagnostics environment
  • Hands-on experience preparing datasets for AI / predictive modeling
  • Cross-functional exposure to Supply Chain, Commercial, and Finance
  • Experience working with real-world operational data at scale
Who You Are:
Qualifications
  • Pursuing or completed an MBA or Bachelor's in Supply Chain, Operations, Data Analytics, or related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working with structured datasets and Excel
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, etc.) preferred
  • Interest in forecasting, planning, and data-driven decision making

#LI-Hybrid
For candidates based in our San Diego office, the hourly range is $23 - $25.
For candidates based in our South San Francisco office, the hourly range is $25 - $27.
The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience, skillset, geographic location, industry, education, etc. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
