What You'll Do
As a Digital Delivery Intern, you'll gain hands-on experience using technology and 3D modeling to support the design and construction of innovative facilities. You'll work alongside experienced Digital Delivery professionals, engineers, and project teams to develop digital models and deliverables while learning industry standards, software, and best practices.
  • Assist with creating and maintaining 3D building models and digital project deliverables.
  • Support project teams with Building Information Modeling (BIM) and digital deliver technicians as well as digital modeling tasks.
  • Develop hands-on experience using software such as Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and Autodesk Construction Cloud, Forma platform.
  • Assist with model coordination and review digital models for accuracy, organization, and consistency.
  • Support the preparation of drawings, model views, and other digital project deliverables.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, project managers, and other disciplines to support project needs.
  • Assist with identifying and resolving modeling or coordination challenges under the guidance of experienced team members.
  • Learn and apply SSR's digital delivery standards, workflows, and best practices.
  • Assist with organizing project information and maintaining accurate digital files and models.
  • Explore emerging technologies and innovative approaches that improve the design and construction process.
  • Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned.

Who We're Looking For
Minimum Requirements:
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Building Science, Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Coursework or academic experience with 3D modeling, BIM, CAD, or related technology.
  • Strong interest in technology, innovation, design, engineering, architecture, or construction.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with teammates.
  • Motivated to learn new software, technologies, and industry practices.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, or other 3D modeling/CAD software through coursework, projects, or previous internship experience.
  • Exposure to Building Information Modeling (BIM).
  • Experience working with 3D models or digital design tools.
  • Familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) or similar project collaboration platforms.
  • Previous internship, project, research, or academic experience involving engineering, architecture, construction, design, or technology.
  • Interest in pursuing a career in Digital Delivery, BIM, engineering, architecture, or the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry.
