Chipton-Ross is seeking a Senior CAD Design Engineer for a contract opportunity in Long Beach, CA.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)- 5+ years of relevant CAD/Design experience or equivalent.
- Experience with ASME specifications Y14.100, Y14.5, Y14.41.
- Experience with Siemens NX and Teamcenter.
- Knowledge of mechanical engineering design, analysis, and manufacturing.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES- Experience with Electronics, Altium to NX or equivalent PCBA development.
- Aerospace or automotive design experience.
- Experience designing and managing large CAD assemblies and associated drawings.
- Self-motivated with strong multi-tasking, organizational, communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work well in an integrated team including daily interactions with technicians, engineers, and managers.
- Demonstrated development and configuration management experience on technically complex hardware products.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS (if noted by client in their req):
REQUIRED EDUCATION- Bachelor's degree in engineering OR 10 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
WORK HOURS- Full-Time-5/40
- Willingness to work evenings and/or weekends to support critical mission milestones.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION - Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
