Job description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design automotive electronic control units (ECUs) such as:
    • Low Voltage Electronics (LVEE)
    • Power Distribution Units (PDU)
    • Infotainment (IVI) systems
    • ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) controllers
  • Create electrical schematics and guide PCB (circuit board) layout activities.
  • Perform board bring-up, testing, debugging, and validation.
  • Analyze signal integrity, power integrity, thermal performance, and EMC/EMI compliance.
  • Work closely with software, mechanical, manufacturing, and vehicle integration teams.
  • Troubleshoot hardware issues and drive root-cause analysis.
  • Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and FMEA activities.
  • Support prototype development and transition products into mass production.
  • Ensure hardware functions properly both on test benches and inside vehicles.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3+ years of automotive electronics hardware design experience.
  • Experience taking automotive electronic products from design through production.
  • Strong understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals.
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Schematic capture tools
    • PCB design tools
    • Oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers
  • Experience debugging hardware and analyzing high-speed signals and power circuits.
Preferred Skills:
  • Knowledge of high-speed PCB design.
  • Experience with Signal Integrity (SI) and Power Integrity (PI) simulations.
  • Familiarity with automotive functional safety standards such as ISO 26262.
  • Master's degree or higher is a plus.
