Position Summary
The Marketing Intern supports the Foley Hospitality Group Marketing Team by assisting with day-to-day marketing initiatives across the company's portfolio of luxury hotels, resorts, wineries, restaurants, spas, and lifestyle brands. This internship provides hands-on experience in hospitality marketing, brand management, digital marketing, content creation, event promotion, and market research.
The Marketing Intern will work closely with corporate and property-level marketing teams to help execute campaigns, strengthen brand awareness, and support revenue-generating initiatives while gaining valuable professional experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Marketing Support
  • Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of marketing campaigns across multiple properties and brands.
  • Help develop promotional materials for hotel, restaurant, spa, golf, winery, and special event initiatives.
  • Support marketing calendars and campaign timelines.
  • Assist with proofreading marketing materials for accuracy and brand consistency.
  • Coordinate marketing requests from property teams as assigned.

Digital Marketing
  • Assist with social media scheduling and content management across multiple platforms.
  • Help create engaging content for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and other digital channels.
  • Monitor social media engagement and identify opportunities to increase audience interaction.
  • Assist with website updates and digital content management.
  • Support email marketing campaigns and newsletters.

Content Creation
  • Assist in creating written content including blogs, newsletters, press releases, promotional copy, and internal communications.
  • Coordinate photography and video assets.
  • Organize and maintain the digital asset library.
  • Ensure all content aligns with Foley Hospitality Group brand standards.

Research & Analytics
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis.
  • Assist in gathering marketing performance metrics.
  • Help prepare campaign reports and presentations.
  • Research hospitality, travel, tourism, and luxury lifestyle trends.
  • Support SEO and digital performance initiatives.

Events & Promotions
  • Assist with planning and execution of promotional events.
  • Support grand openings, community events, and property activations.
  • Coordinate event materials and marketing collateral.
  • Attend events as needed to assist with marketing execution.

Administrative Support
  • Organize marketing files and project documentation.
  • Schedule meetings and maintain project calendars.
  • Assist with vendor coordination.
  • Complete additional projects and administrative tasks as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in:

  • Previous internship or customer service experience preferred but not required.
