This position will sit at our Aguadilla, PR location. You must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment. Relocation is not offered.

This role is categorized as hybrid, with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote following the schedule assigned by the Manager.

What YOU will do:

  • Design Digital Circuit Cards from inception through layout and assembly
  • Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure requirements are met at every level of design
  • Work with ECAD designers to generate full databases and drawings to build PWB/CCAs 
  • Perform design analyses (timing, power, signal integrity and others)
  • Perform design verification and troubleshooting
  • Produce and present design documentation

Qualifications you must have:

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
  • Demonstrated professional experience communicating in English (verbal and written).
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience taking a design concept from requirements to CCA development
  • Experience with printed circuit board (PCB) design process and expertise in full suite of design tools
  • Proficient in design verification/analysis – timing/power/signal integrity analysis, bench-level testing, troubleshooting, and test results analysis
  • Experience conducting trade studies and produce comprehensive design documentation including test requirements & design memos
  • Experience coordinating with other disciplines and communicating effectively to ensure product success
  • Proficiency with Siemen's Xpedition Design Tools is preferred
  • Understanding of IPC Standards for PCB Design and Fabrication
  • Understanding of IEEE, MIL standards
  • Adept at using the Microsoft Tool Suite
  • Proficiency with analog and mixed‐signal circuits
