Job description

As an Account Manager in Amazon US Global Selling team, you will work with large Amazon US Sellers helping them expand their online retail business to Amazon websites in Europe, Asia, South America and Australia. You will work with Seller's leadership team, identify decision makers and align them to take actions required to expand their business to Amazon's global websites. You will build and cultivate strong working relationships with sellers in your portfolio; be a trusted advisor and a business advocate. You will also partner with US Services Providers to help your sellers get required tax and product compliance for global selling. You will be comfortable with 6+ month sales cycle taking the sellers through step-by-step process to launch on a new Amazon country website. Success in this role will be evaluated based on number of sellers, unique selection and revenue that you drive from the sellers in your portfolio. You will utilize a wide range of negotiation skills and work across major functional areas to drive the performance of Sellers on Amazon's global websites.
In addition to your day-to-day role working with sellers, you will contribute to business strategy development, program management, and cross-functional initiatives that drive growth at scale. You will own and maintain programs, write business documents (narratives, strategy papers, operational reports), and partner with product teams to translate field insights into platform improvements. You will use customer feedback, market growth trends, and analyze key metrics to contribute to strategic development of features and programs that accelerate growth and improve selling partners' experience. As automation and AI reshape how we work, you will be expected to leverage data analysis and tooling to drive efficiency, surface insights, and inform decision-making beyond your individual seller portfolio.

Key job responsibilities
• Build strong relationships with CXO level stakeholders in Seller's organization to drive decisions and actions required to launch Seller's business on Amazon's global online stores.
• Pitch CXO level stakeholders on benefit of selling their products on Amazon's global online stores in Europe, Asia and South America.
• Guide sellers on step-by-step process on global account registration, tax and product compliance etc.
• Leverage Amazon Quick Suite AI tools to analyze Seller performance data and identify actions to grow sellers' business.
• Earn seller's trust and foster strong relationships with sellers to align them on acting on identified growth opportunities.
• Prepare and conduct monthly business reviews with CXO stakeholders in Sellers Org. regarding progress and roadblocks to increase their revenue on Amazon's global website.
• Collaborate with other account managers and program teams on best practices; iterate on approaches while measuring impact, to intelligently drive growth initiatives.
• Analyze large datasets using Excel, and internal BI tools to identify trends, diagnose conversion gaps, and produce actionable reports for leadership.
• Partner with product teams to translate seller feedback and field intelligence into feature requirements and platform improvements.

The US Global Selling (USGS) team owns the full business lifecycle of North American sellers expanding into Amazon's 19 global marketplaces. Our mission is to make US marketplace selection accessible and affordable to Amazon customers worldwide. While US sellers excel on Amazon.com, it is just the beginning of their potential global expansion journey. We're dedicated to simplifying global expansion and international selling for US sellers, working closely with them on both technical and non-technical aspects of product, supply chain, compliance, logistics, etc. Amazon Global Selling team's vision is to be the first choice for all US retail businesses to go global. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 1+ years of professional or military experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications
- Experience prospecting, qualifying, and cold-calling companies
- 2+ years of full sales cycle, technology sales or equivalent business development, sales engineering/consulting or equivalent experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office products, applications, and Salesforce.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with pipeline management skills to include utilization of Salesforce or other CRM tools
- Experience and track record of exceeding sales goals
- Experience in a client facing consultative role working with large, complex enterprise customers
- Experience with QuickSight dashboard and visual creation
- Experience analyzing large datasets and translating them to actionable business insight

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, Basic Life & AD&D insurance and option for Supplemental life plans, EAP, Mental Health Support, Medical Advice Line, Flexible Spending Accounts, Adoption and Surrogacy Reimbursement coverage), 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
