Job Description Overview: ProspectBlue is seeking an Intermodal Coordinator for their client in Richmond, VA area. This role will support day-to-day intermodal operations, coordinating shipments between rail, trucking, and port partners to ensure timely and efficient delivery.

Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and track intermodal shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve delays proactively Communicate with carriers, drivers, and internal teams to manage shipment status and updates Monitor shipment milestones and update systems with accurate tracking information Troubleshoot service issues and work with partners to resolve delivery challenges Support documentation and compliance related to intermodal transportation Maintain strong relationships with vendors and transportation partners Qualifications: Prior experience in logistics, trucking, transportation, or supply chain preferred (internships count) Open to recent or upcoming graduates with strong interest in logistics Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, operations-driven environment Detail-oriented with solid organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer systems Compensation & Details: Salary: $52,000 - $70,000 (depending on experience) Full-time, exempt position Onsite in Glen Allen, VA Why This Role.
