Pay rate: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Working hours: 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

The welder position is responsible for Fabricate structural steel support frame assemblies, for packaged pumping systems utilizing GMAW/MIG process.


In addition to annual initiatives, the key accountabilities of this position are:


Job Knowledge Requirements:

  1. Hand tool and power tool operation
  2. Print reading knowledge
  3. Structural welding in flat and vertical down positions
  4. General plasma torch operation for burning/cutting
  5. Cut/drill/thread steel
  6. Overhead crane and hoist operation
  7. Structural welding in the overhead position
  8. Plasma torch for beveling pipe
  9. Welding stainless and black pipe non-ASME

Preferred Qualifications/Education/Experience:

  1. Completion of five (5) years on the job experience, or welding technology course plus 3 years on the job experience.
  2. Proficient in the use of both gas and electric welding equipment.
  3. Proficient in the use of cutting, grinding, drilling, tapping and threading machinery.
  4. Able to read and follow fabrication drawings without supervision.
  5. Five (5) years experience in job shop production welding of structural assemblies.
  6. Five (5) years experience in welding of pressurized hydraulic assemblies and piping.
  7. Must possess the ability to perform proper computer functions.
  8. Must perform to established production rates.
