Job description

What You Will Be Doing- Handling, cutting, welding, and assembling materials, such as steel, stainless, aluminum, structural and sheet metal for our custom products.

  • Ensuring that all products are fabricated, welded, and installed according to our engineered drawings.
  • Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
  • Recognize, set up, and operate hand and power tools common to the welding trade, such as shielded metal arc and gas metal arc welding equipment.
  • Assist with the lay out, positioning, alignment, and securing of parts and assemblies prior to assembly, using straightedges, combination squares, calipers, and rulers.
  • Work closely with other team members to accurately fulfill customer orders on time.

  • Critical thinking and good judgment.
  • Basic to intermediate fabrication and welding experience. MIG welding experience with a variety of metals, including mild steel, aluminum, and stainless steel, is preferred. Certifications are helpful but not required to start. Training will be provided to help you advance and become certified.
  • Ability to read cut lists and engineering drawings for the purpose of cutting and assembling various materials.
  • Mechanical abilities; skill in using tools such as saws, drills, grinders, cut-off wheels, clamps, levels, and tape measures.
  • Always communicating with clarity; strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to maintain a professional and clean workspace and assist in shop housekeeping.
  • Strong safety mindset and willingness to be part of and promote our safety culture.
  • Team player who can also perform without supervision.
