Compensation: $16.00-$18.00/hr
What You'll Do:
  • Act as the face of Walser service by greeting customers as they enter the service drive.
  • Perform vehicle walk-arounds, record mileage and VIN numbers, transport vehicles to technician bays, and write-up repair orders
  • Understand basic automotive repairs, know how long each service will take and how much the repair will cost
  • Serve as the liaison between technicians and customers, while relaying all information to set clear expectations of the visit to the guests
  • Stage vehicles and shuttle customers as needed
  • Provide support to the dealership's service department by moving vehicles out of the service drive aisle
  • Support technicians by helping bring vehicles to bay and parking after service
  • Aid in keeping drive aisle clean and clear
  • Run vehicles through automatic wash

What You Bring:
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
  • 0-9 months experience in the automotive industry
  • Past experience working with a high level of urgency
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Experience interacting with customers and providing a positive experience
  • High level of detail orientation and accuracy
  • Beginner to intermediate level of technical proficiency and experience using Microsoft office (outlook, excel, word), preference may be given to intermediate level skills
  • Proven experience working within a team environment
  • Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
