Position Responsibility Summary:

  • Primary Function - Application Lifecycle (PWS 1.16.7.1, 1.16.7.2, 1.16.7.3, 1.16.7.4): Maintains application environments across the full development pipeline, performs software analysis/design/sustainment/retirement, manages application security and authorization, and develops Digital Enterprise/Knowledge Management applications across multiple PAE program offices.
  • Cross-Functional Systems Integration (PWS 1.16.3.1): Cross-trained in System Management to support the development of test data, coordinate application deployments across server environments, and troubleshoot application-to-server integration issues. Prevents deployment delays by enabling developers to independently diagnose whether application issues originate in the codebase or the server environment, and resolve serverโ€‘side deployment configurations for routine releases.
Position Requirements
  • Minimum Required Qualifications
  • Experience: Full-stack software development (.NET, C#, HTML/CSS, JavaScript); secure coding practices; Azure DevOps or CI/CD pipelines; building and sustaining web applications in a DoD environment.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Certifications: IAT Level II certification required per DoDM 8140.03.
  • Years of Experience: 5 to 10 years of software development experience.

Security Clearance: Active SECRET clearance.

Duty Location: Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, Alabama 35898

Work Arrangement: Onโ€‘site (embedded within the OCIO); situational telework may be authorized on a caseโ€‘byโ€‘case basis with COR/KO approval

Travel Requirements: CONUS travel may be required; all travel requires prior written COR approval per JTR/FAR 31.205-46
