Summary of Position Functions


This position supports Milhaus by maintaining financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and long-term strategic planning. The role includes preparing monthly variance analysis reports, recommending and implementing process improvements using consolidation software and ERP systems, and collaborating with senior accounting, finance, and operations teams. Additional responsibilities involve conducting ad-hoc financial analyses and contributing to special projects such as company valuation, IRR calculations, and cash flow analysis. 


Essential Position Functions

  • Maintain financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and long-term strategic planning for Milhaus Enterprise
  • Prepare Monthly Variance Analysis Reports
  • Recommend & Implement Process Improvements utilizing existing consolidation software and ERP systems
  • Collaborate with senior members of the accounting and finance teams and business operations
  • Contribute to special projects such as Company Valuation, IRR calculation, and cashflow analysis
  • Complete Ad-Hoc Financial Analysis as Required

Education and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, accounting or relevant experience.
  • Experience and knowledge in several functions within Finance (Budgeting, Consolidation, Performance Reporting and financial analysis)
  • Basic understanding of accounting processes, procedures, and internal controls
  • Ability to pull, consolidate, and analyze large data sets from different systems
  • Demonstrates excellent financial and quantitative skills.
  • Experience in real estate, corporate finance, or consulting is required. 
  • Skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Keen attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Valid driver's license in the state of residence

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of Milhaus's services and processes is required which can be obtained through intellect, technical inclination, and dedication to gain such knowledge.
  • Knowledge (Intermediate to advanced) of various operating systems, software products (e.g. MS Office, etc.), is required.
