Job Summary:  

This position is an integral part of the Lift Maintenance team. The Lift Electrical Specialist oversees special projects, emergency, and preventative maintenance on a variety of ski lift electrical, electro-mechanical, light industrial control systems, and commercial equipment.   

Job Specifications:  

  • Starting Wage: $26.60/hr - $38.00/hr  

  • Employment Type: Year Round  

  • Shift Type: Full Time hours available 

  • Minimum Age: At least 18 years of age  

  • Housing Availability: No 

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Ensure the safe and reliable electronic operation of the ski lifts, utilizing technical knowledge, skills, and abilities to optimize equipment downtime, including the responsibility of high and low voltage systems and the upkeep and maintenance of lift controller programming 

  • Responsible for performing all routine and assigned maintenance procedures as well as recording all information of work performed on lifts and submitting timely  

  • Engages around priorities to foster engagement, collaboration, and results 

  • Be able to follow safety and risk management policies and procedures 

  • Supports the professional growth and development of employees across all levels of the organization, including Apprentices, Mechanics, and Lift Operations staff 

  • Other duties as assigned  

Job Requirements: 

  • Prior experience in electrical and programming 

  • Must have or ability to obtain a valid US driver's license 

  • Ability to work efficiently at heights 

  • Able to work outdoors in adverse mountain winter weather conditions 

  • Must be able to work flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, evening shifts, overtime, etc.  

  • Intermediate ski/snowboard ability preferred 

The expected pay range is $26.60/hr - $38.00/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
