Job Description Senior Civil / Municipal Engineer - Burlington County, NJ Area We're seeking a seasoned Civil / Municipal Engineer to join a growing team focused on delivering innovative infrastructure solutions to public sector clients. This role offers the opportunity to lead meaningful municipal projects, collaborate with a team of skilled engineers, and contribute to sustainable community development. This is a full-time position with strong potential for career growth, based in the Burlington County, NJ area.

Key Responsibilities Project Leadership: Lead municipal engineering initiatives, including roadway improvements, stormwater management, subdivision and land development reviews, and utility planning. Manage capital improvement programs for local government clients, ensuring projects meet budget and schedule targets. Design and Technical Oversight: Develop engineering reports, project proposals, and cost estimates.

Supervise permitting, design, and documentation for infrastructure projects, including roadways, drainage systems, and water/wastewater utilities. Review and provide technical guidance on project designs to ensure compliance with industry standards and local regulations. Stakeholder and Community Engagement: Serve as the technical representative at municipal planning, zoning, and land-use board meetings.

Communicate project objectives, status updates, and technical information effectively to clients, public officials, and community members. Team Leadership and Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff, supporting professional development. Oversee project teams to ensure high-quality, timely deliverables.

Construction Support: Participate in construction administration and site inspections to confirm projects align with specifications. Address and resolve design or construction issues collaboratively with contractors and clients. Qualifications Required: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and a PE license.

3-5 years of professional experience in civil/municipal engineering, preferably with public sector projects. Solid understanding of infrastructure systems, including roadways, stormwater, and utilities. Preferred: Certified Municipal Engineer (CME) credential or equivalent.

Experience with engineering design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GIS. Familiarity with hydrology and hydraulic modeling tools (e.g., HydroCAD, SewerGEMS, or similar). Strong organizational and multi-project management skills

Ability to work independently while fostering a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
