Job Title: Full-Time Sales & Marketing Representative / Estimator - Residential Painting
Company: TRU Choice Painting Inc. – Veteran-Owned & Operated
Location: Hoschton, GA (Jackson, Hall, Barrow, Gwinnett Counties and surrounding areas)
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $45,000 - $55,000 base salary (W-2) + 4-6% commission on closed sales
Potential Total Compensation: $60,000 - $90,000+ first year depending on performance and revenue generated
About the Role
TRU Choice Painting Inc. is a growing, veteran-owned residential (and light commercial) painting business based in Hoschton, GA. We specialize in high-quality interior/exterior painting, staining, pressure washing, drywall repair, and more—with a commitment to no shortcuts and exceptional customer service.
We’re hiring a motivated Full-Time Sales & Marketing Representative / Estimator / Project Manager to drive our residential growth. This hybrid role combines lead generation, accurate estimating, sales closing, and project coordination. Ideal for someone with experience in home improvement sales, painting/contracting estimating, or customer-facing project management.
Key Responsibilities
• Marketing & Lead Generation (20-40% of time): Execute door-to-door canvassing, Yelp, Nextdoor, Facebook, Google and local platform posts, community networking, and follow-ups. Manage daily sales schedules and generate quality appointments.
• Estimating & Quoting (30-50% of time): Conduct on-site measurements and assessments for residential painting jobs (interiors, exteriors, etc.). Prepare accurate, professional bids using our custom estimating spreadsheet (materials, labor, overhead, profit). Create and present proposals to clients.
• Sales Closing & Client Relations: Present estimates, handle objections, negotiate, and close deals. Build relationships for referrals and repeat business. Support client visualization tools (photo uploads + color options).
• Job Management & Coordination (20-30% of time): Schedule crews/subcontractors, order materials, manage client communications, conduct quality checks, handle change orders, and ensure smooth project handoff and completion.
Track leads/jobs, pursue referrals, and assist with basic admin/follow-ups.
What We’re Looking For
• 1-3+ years of experience in sales, estimating, or project coordination in home improvement, painting, remodeling, or construction.
• Strong communication and customer service skills—comfortable with in-person presentations and site visits.
• Detail-oriented with good math/measurement skills; experience with spreadsheets or estimating tools is a big plus.
• Self-motivated, organized, and reliable.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (mileage/vehicle allowance provided).
